Random!

This post is completely random. My lovely sister Katie (love ya Kates) accidentally loaded all my pics onto my fam's computer, which somehow erased them from my memory card. So the other night my awesome daddy emailed me a bunch of the pics that I had lost from my camera. I was so excited to get them, and thought they were too cute not to put on here :) A lot of them are from our adventures this last summer!
All tired out after a trip to the Zoo.

I bought this little monkey while at the zoo. It ended up being Kiya's favorite animal there :)

Bath Time!

Aunt Shelly, Kiya, and Lamb :)

Grandma Cook and Kiya (love the hairbow)!

The Fam up at Secret Lake.

This was at Christmas time, sleeping with uncle Brian. This one pulls at the heart strings, my brother Brian is on a mission right now. We love him and miss him and can't wait to see him again in a little over a year from now.

Kiya with her Grandma and Grandpa, gotta love Costco!

Happy Girl!

This was in our apartment for the summer. Sunday pictures. I love this dress, Great Grandma DeHaan made two of these by hand for Kiya, they are priceless.

Again, in our summer apartment. Kiya was just starting to figure out the crawling thing. She looks like she's goin down for a pushup :)

Kiya and her aunts and uncles :)

I Love this picture! Kiya loves her daddy so much!
4th of July

Kiya is the first Grandchild, Great Grandchild, and Great Great Grandchild on my mom's side. She's a very popular girl! This is at our family reunion in the summer, where she constantly had an "entourage." My sister Shelly is in the middle, and the rest are all my cousins. Good lookin' bunch!

Puerto Penasco

This is a picture of our family in Mexico in the beginning of October. We are on the balcony of our suite. We love going to Mexico. Kiya loved the ocean water. We would take her and pull her in and out of the water really quickly and she would go crazy laughing.

Happy 1st Birthday!

So October 22nd was Kiya's 1st Birthday! We kept it pretty low key, with presents and her first cupcake! She was definitely more excited about the cupcake though I think! I am so grateful for my little family. I could not imagine my life without my sweet little girl. She is my whole life, I love her so much. Some things about Kiya - she now weighs 18 lbs, and she is 28.6 inches long. She has four teeth and two more about to come in. She loves soft cuddly blankets (which she likes to bury her little face in) and stuffed animals, her favorite being her pink and white kitten. She loves climbing on the stairs (when not blocked by mommy or daddy)! She likes to play hide and seek with mommy, and loves to try and get daddy's laptop. She LOVES food (which mom loves about her!), some of her favorites - definitely grapes, cherrios, goldfish crackers, and spaghettios, and most anything mom and dad are eating :) Her only words right now are mamma and dadda, she said "hi" one morning when we went to get her out of bed, but the little stinker hasn't said it again since! She crawls around everywhere and pulls herself up to everything, and just recently started standing up on her own. She's definitely a little busy body, she gets into all the cupboards and drawers and pulls everything out, I can always tell where and what Kiya's been into! Kiya has the cutest little cheesy grin, which she gives to anyone that will smile at her. Kiya loves bath time, and also loves mommy's bath time - she'll pull herself up to the tub and splash mommy and throw anything she can get her hands on into the tub :) When she gets excited her legs start kicking and arms flap, she shows her excitement with her whole body! I could go on and on about our sweet little princess! Love you Kiya!

Mmmmm! Kiya's First Cupcake!

Oh yeah, that's good stuff!

Halloween Fun!

Okay so here we go! I'm going to take a shot at this blogging thing :) I know it's almost a month late, but Kiya looked so cute for Halloween as a little Ladybug, so these had to be in my first post. And to be honest this will probably be a theme for my posts, maybe I'll get Christmas pics up by Valentines Day! What can you do! On Halloween day last year Kiya got to come home with us after spending a couple weeks in NICU, we were sooo excited to bring our little girl home! That night we went to JD and Leah's for a little get together, so this year we kept with tradition and did some trick or treating in their neighborhood! It was a fun night, and Kiya especially enjoyed the part where she had her first lollipop!
