Kaylee's Homecoming!

Kaylee came home from the NICU a day short of one month old. The little sweetheart had the toughest time with the eating thing. She recieved the sweetest priesthood blessing from her daddy and a brother from the bishopric on Sunday 1/17, by the following Tuesday her feeding tube was out. And she came home that Saturday the 23rd of January! The next day we did absolutely nothing but be a family and enjoy being all together, it was the best day.

She had been doing consistently well for a couple days and the nurses were telling us they thought the doctor would give the order for the feeding tube to come out that day. Well Kaylee beat them to the punch, she yanked the thing out before the doc did his rounds. So they just kept it out, and it never went back in!!! This is her first pic without annoying tube thing :)

This was the day before, she had just had a bath and the nurses found this adorable outfit for her. I didn't bring any of her clothes to wear til the day she was discharged, if you bring in your own you run the risk of never seeing them again. They had some really cute clothes though, cuter than I remember them having when Kiya was there.

Little buddies Laena and Kiya. We had so many good friends bring food and watch Kiya and just be there for support. I'm so grateful for the love and kindness of so many people. I hope someday I can return such generosity as was shown us during this time in our lives.
Cuddling with daddy

We recieved the prettiest flowers from Lance's work.

Kiya holding Jemma - Justin and Kendra's baby girl. I got mastitis a couple times :( The sweetheart brought me this whole bag of get better things to help it go away.

Waiting to meet her new baby sister.

Hmmm not sure . . .

Daddy and his girls that night, our little family together finally! That was my favorite - seeing Lance hold our girls, he's such a good daddy.

The NICU tells you not to use those head things that keep their heads from floppin around because they haven't been studied with carseats for crashes. So they showed us how to do the blanket thing, it looks really funny though lol.

Ok, this baby sister thing isn't so bad . . . she's sorta cute!
