Happy Birthday to . . . ME!

Birthday #25, I'm officially in my mid-twenties :) My Birthday was on Wednesday last week, so I'm only a week late in posting about it, I think that's some kind of record for me! I had such an awesome birthday! Lance asked me what I wanted and I said just a day for myself, so he took the day off work and stayed home with Kiya. Lance woke up with Kiya so I could sleep in that morning. Then I went out and got a nice relaxing massage, and then a spa pedi, and did a little shopping for a new outfit for dinner that night. When I came home from my "time off" he had bought me a dozen roses, and an ice cream birthday cake! For dinner we got a babysitter and went to The Melting Pot (I've never tried fondue, but have always wanted to) it was sooo yummy! I had such a great day, my hubby made it so special - thanks babe I love you, you're the BEST! And thanks to all my friends and family, your calls and goodies that were sent meant so much to me!

The Melting Pot

The birthday cake Lance got was from Coldstone. I always get birthday cake icecream with sprinkles when we go there, so that's what he got! Soooo good, I practically inhaled it!

That looks like an amazing birthday!! Way to go Lance on staying home from work and picking out some sweet gifts. That cake looks sooo good!! I might have to request one of those for my next birthday...good thing they come once a year. And I have heard that melting pot was good--I'm totally going to have to try it. Glad you had such a great birthday..so did you go out for the day by yourself or did you take a friend with you??

Wow! That sounds like the perfect day! Sometimes it's nice just to go out shopping and do things by your self. I've been craving a massage lately. The best one I've ever had was a hot stone massage that I got for our anniversary once, it was amazing! I need to see before this baby comes so we can have a girls day together!

So far my surgery went well. I have my one week post-op check up tomorrow. I am already walking on my special boot without crutches. I have to walk with my special shoe for 4 more weeks. This surgery so far is my easiest yet. Right now I am applying to continue my schooling at BYUI as a non traditional student. I want to finish the PT school prerequisistes. Peace out
