I know it's been awhile!!! I tried to get to this before our summer move but it obviously didn't happen. But we're here in "Bama" and all settled into our new place for the summer. So hopefully my posts will be more frequent! So before all the moving stuff was going on Lance and I spent 6 days in Los Cabos. Thanks SO much to my family for watching our little munchkin - first time leaving her overnight, and leaving her with family definitely made it easier. Vacation definitely becomes more complicated when you have a little one to fly up to Boise and then fly back down to Arizona and then take the two hour flight to Los Cabos, but we made it, and I got to visit my family for a week!!! We had such a fun time, we spent lots of time on the beach, went on a sunset whale watching cruise and saw a mamma and baby humpback whale (way cool), did some shopping, had some really good food, drove to a little town and saw the famous Hotel California, drank lots of Pina Coladas (virgin :), and just enjoyed each others company.
The drive to the Hotel California was about an hour and a half, and the whole time there's just miles of empty beach. So we stopped and enjoyed a quiet beach with absolutely nobody in site!
Hotel California
My favorite restaurant while we were there, called the Seven Seas. Lance had Lobster and I had sesame crusted Mahi Mahi, sooo good!

I'm sorry...you moved to Alabama? What in the world?
I know, right! We move every summer for 5 months. It's always somewhere different, and then we go back home to Arizona - our "home base" I guess you could call it. So this year we are in Alabama!
Where in Alabama are you? That's so crazy, I'd love to hear about how it's going!
As i was reading your comment on my blog i was thinking... I dont think i have her on my fav bloggers:) lol Im so bad at this whole blogging thing! I will add you and it will be added with much LOVE:) Your blog is DARLING! and i love your pics from your vacation!! You are SO beautiful! I love you and miss you!
Oh Trin, I totally spaced that you guys lived in Alabama! We are in Birmingham, and I really like it! It's so beautiful and green - complete opposite of Arizona! And I swear, everyone is sooo nice, I'm lovin the southern hospitality. Were you guys in Birmingham? I'd love to know of any fun things to do around here!
Haha, we were definitely not in Birmingham. The Army has a way of putting you in the armpit of any state. Except Hawaii, there is no armpit of Hawaii. We were in the Dothan area which is about as south east as you can get before you hit Florida or Georgia. If for some reason you find yourself in Enterprise though, you should eat ice cream at Milky Moo's. It was called Smooochies when we were there, but it's the same thing; different name. Amazing! And in that same area you need to eat at Big Daddy's BBQ and you have to order the pulled beef(or pork) baked potato. I still crave these. And of course, you'll get to see the Bollweevil monument. It's really a thing of beauty. :) Something that may really be neat though, since you're fairly close to Atlanta is the Georgia Aquarium. I don't know if you've ever been there, but it's really fantastic and a lot of fun! I'm glad you're enjoying it there! I thought it was beautiful too, so green with lots of trees. Very different from Oklahoma too! Have fun you crazy kids!
Thanks, Trin! My dad served his mission here, and he says the Bollweevil monument is a must see as well lol! If we make it down to Enterprise, we'll definitely check out those places, I'm craving the pulled pork baked potatoe just hearing about it! Thanks so much for the tips! I'm still hoping one of these summers our adventures will take us to Hawaii!
Woo Hoo KIm! Way to get a post up here! Love the title of it too, makes me feel so loved! :) Your trip looked so fun. I am singing "hotel California" in my head right now. We need to all take a vacation together sometime in between having babies and stuff! BTW I freaking miss you so bad right now. I am in such a slump. There are NO other wives out here. It is just me and my kids... that's it. I need a friend so bad. I see JD for about 2 hrs a day, and the kids are in bed before he even gets home... can you say "single mom?!" Ugh, anyways I just need to call you cuz I could go on and on. How's Alabama? It sounds like you are enjoyin it there. And this year is DEFINITLEY my last year coming out, but if our adventures somehow take us to Hawaii... count me in! Haha! Love ya!
That'd be so fun to do a vacation together! Remember the good ole days in Puerto Penasco, seems like forever ago! And BTW I really miss you too. Summers just aren't the same without you. We do need to talk though, lots of catching up to do!
