So . . . It's Been Awhile lol

We're finally home now! And since we've been home I've wanted to post lots of fun summer pics, but after the move I can't find my stupid camera. So I thought that I would at least update on our lives and some big changes coming up :) Yep, (as my bro. would put it) my Eggo is Prego! I'll be 23 weeks on Monday and we're having another little girl! We are so excited to welcome a new little princess into our family! I'm due February 1st, but looks like I'll have her about a month early :) I am rh-sensitized (despite the Rhogam shot I received) which means after 18 weeks they monitor the baby really closely to make sure she isn't becoming anemic. It's so amazing what they can do now days. Using ultrasound they measure the blood flow in her cerebral artery in her brain. If the count goes too high then she doesn't have enough blood and they give her a blood transfusion in-utero. So far no blood transfusions!!! The little sweetheart has stayed right below the mark to have one done - which explains the weekly tests, but we'll take that over blood transfusions any day! I am sooo grateful for the wonderful doctors taking care of us. I know Heavenly Father has sent these amazing people to care for these babies, and I have the opportunity to have more children because of that. I feel so incredibly blessed.

Ha ha. I was wondering why this 'Mike' guy was telling you how good you looked and wanting to get together :) Congrats. That's really exciting. I hope everything goes well. We did one of those in utero transfusions at our hospital recently. It's amazing what they can do now. Good luck!
