Since I failed to post basically all summer long, I thought I'd post some pics of a few of our summer adventures! We were in Alabama for the first half of the summer, which is the farthest east we've ever lived. I loved it there, it was so beautiful and green (bit of a change from AZ)! There's definitely something to say about that good old southern hospitality, people were just generally nice and very friendly. And things seemed to move at a slower pace - I swear even at the checkout at the grocery store they bagged things at a glacial pace lol!

K, mama learned her lesson on this one - don't leave the bowl of oatmeal too close to the edge of the counter, otherwise Kiya will go ahead and help herself!
Laena and Kiya - our girls and their binkies! These girls were best buds all summer. They'd get so excited when they saw each other saying "hi hi hi"! This was after a day at the zoo. I think they might have been ready for a nap, ya think?!
There was a "kitty" walking the ledge by the window. The girl loves kitties!

Yeah some summer pics finally!! Those are all so cute. Love the first pic of Kiya! She is def a girly girl! The hand placement I know she learned from her Daddy though.. haha!! jk :)
